Character Check 101 March 4, 2008

To aspire for success in spite of the obstacles confronting one is considered the true spirit of a champion. However, success at the cost of integrity and responsibilities constitutes the heart of an egotistic maniac. A point to ponder for candidates running for government offices in regards to the strategies they employ. Smear propagandas, negative ads, misrepresentation and exorbitant promises … etc all have their places but each have their own threshold. They all have their lines of limitation and boundaries that distinctly dictate when enough is enough. For Hillary, she passed this line a long time ago, I believe in South Carolina and she is currently gliding at a stratospheric level above it. To the keen eye, it has become evident that her ego has mushroomed her responsibilities and clouded her judgment of what is best for America and the world. This has become a personal crusade for her that needs to be “Mission Accomplished” at all cost even if it means dismantling her party and dividing communities. This grossly mismanaged campaign of hers not only revealed her true incompetency but also the real character lying behind those pant suits. An egotistic and cunning woman whose witch like cackle sends shiver to everyone who listens to her cacophonous speech. We all have seen the result when a president who prioritizes his ego and personal vendetta more than his responsibilities to his people. The cost is in trillions and immeasurable human lives. I hope this mistake is avoided this time around. After seeing what we have seen, characters need to be considered as one of the measuring sticks to run the white house.
